Build a simple daily charging routine

Use the limit recommended on your car’s touchscreen or in the app; battery type and software can change the advice.

1. Park safely and inspect the connector for obvious damage or contamination.
2. Plug in and confirm that charging begins in the app or on the touchscreen.
3. Set the charge limit shown as appropriate for your vehicle. Avoid copying another owner’s setting.
4. If your tariff varies by time, schedule charging for the lower-cost period while preserving the charge you need.
5. Before departure, confirm the expected charge and disconnect using the connector’s normal release method.

If charging does not start

Read the charge-port light and any on-screen alert. Reseat the connector if the instructions allow it, check the charger’s status, and try a known-working charging source when practical. Do not use damaged equipment.
