Charging / Everyday use
Build a simple daily charging routine
Use the limit recommended on your carâs touchscreen or in the app; battery type and software can change the advice.
- Park safely and inspect the connector for obvious damage or contamination.
- Plug in and confirm that charging begins in the app or on the touchscreen.
- Set the charge limit shown as appropriate for your vehicle. Avoid copying another ownerâs setting.
- If your tariff varies by time, schedule charging for the lower-cost period while preserving the charge you need.
- Before departure, confirm the expected charge and disconnect using the connectorâs normal release method.
If charging does not start
Read the charge-port light and any on-screen alert. Reseat the connector if the instructions allow it, check the chargerâs status, and try a known-working charging source when practical. Do not use damaged equipment.
Electrical work is not a DIY experiment. A home circuit or wall connector should be assessed and installed as required by local rules by a qualified professional.
